Nowadays most of the popular radio stations have radio streaming options on their websites. But it is very time consuming to store all those websites and surf from one page to another just to change the channel. Most of the media players make it possible to stream radios by simply entering an url.
For Turkish radios,
here is a sample playlist with more than 50 popular Turkish radios, you may open it with Winamp, Windows Media Player or MediaMonkey. You may simply add new urls to the playlist or refresh the links by editing items on playlist. Radios frequently change their straming url's.
Nutsie.com, listen to your own itunes playlists onlineI felt in love with the idea as soon as I heard about it, it goes with the slogan
'Free your iTunes'All you have to do is to save your iTunes library by exporting it, then you upload it to
Nutsie, and voila! Nutsie matches the songs in your playlists with the ones in database and now you can listen them anywhere you go!
But there are a few tricks to it. First you have to be an iTunes user, you have to own an organized library, and properly tagged songs(with proper song titles, album name and artist), so that Nutsie can match them. It sure doesn't work with turkish songs, since they are not on the database.

Last.fm
Update: It was too good to be true to begin with! Now Last FM is paid if you are outside Germany, USA and UK! let's look for a new shiny music provider!!
Last.fm makes it possible to create your playlists using the songs from its huge database. It is almost impossible not to find the song you are looking for. It also gives information about the artist and album.
If you find a song for the first time, it will probably let you listen only a song preview of 30 seconds. But if you add it to your library or favourites, next time will be a full length.(you need at least 20 songs in order to play your library) It is also possible to create some sort of radio station by choosing your favourite artist, last.fm plays songs from similar artists.
You can either listen from the website, the last.fm application downloadable from the
website. This program also will let you syncronize your music in your computer with your last.fm library, this feature is called 'Scrobbling'.
For firefox users here is an awesome add-on called
fire.fm, lets you listen directly from a toolbar on your browser, change stations or even listen to your friends' libraries.
FinetuneFinetune's features are almost alike last.fm. It won't let you put more than 3 songs from an artist in a playlist. But it has some 'stations', basicly they are long playlists of top songs of their category, it is the thing I like the most about the website. There is also a free iPhone/iPod touch app for streaming audio from Finetune.
Streaming Radio on iPod Touch, Why bother turning on the PC to listen to radio?
The
feature I like the most about iPod Touch is the possibility to listen
radios over internet. I just purchased a Logitech Pure-fi Anytime
radio/alarm clock and a wireless router, with the help of a few itunes
apps I listen, even wake up with Turkish radios. Actually a simple
speaker can do the trick as well. Here are a few examples to apps I am
using,
Fstream: you may find it for free on App store.It makes
it possible to add your own url's. I made my own Turkish radios list.
You can use the url's in my playlist, simply view file info(alt+3 on
winamp) or by opening the playlist in notepad and copy it to Fstream.
SHOUTcast Radio: It is another
free app, which has hundreds of radios pre-cataloged, also it is
possible to search for more channels.
RadioAlarm: It has an
alarm feature that wakes you up with radio, you may even add new radios
to the list. It costs 7 SEK(70 euro cents) on Appstore.
WunderRadio: This is one of the best radio streaming apps ever. It could find almost every radio station I've searched for. It even lets you to enter websites of radio stations. The interface of the player is not as fancy as AllRadio but sure is very user-friendly. And it doesn't freeze like Fstream when it fails to connect. It is available in Appstore for 45 SEK(should be around 4.5 Euros).
